Who we are

Smit Industrial Intelligence (SII), [address], Chamber of Commerce no. [number], is responsible for the processing of personal data described here. Questions: info@industrial-intelligence.eu.

What we process and why

Quick-scan: if you ask us to email your result, we store your email address, optionally your name and company, your answers and your indicative phase. We use this to send you the result (your request) and, only if you confirmed it, our newsletter (your consent).

Membership: for members we process account details (name, work email, password in encrypted form), company details (name, VAT number, country, sector, size), team membership and assessment answers. We need these to provide the platform under the membership agreement.

Payments and invoices are handled via Mollie; we keep invoice data as long as tax law requires.

How long we keep it

Quick-scan data without newsletter subscription: 12 months. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Accounts: as long as the membership runs, then [period]. Invoices: 7 years (legal obligation).

Where your data is stored

We store data in the European Union only. We work with processors under a data processing agreement: hosting [provider, country], email delivery [provider, country] and payments (Mollie, Netherlands). We don't sell data and don't share it for advertising.

Cookies

We only use functional cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Every email has a link to unsubscribe or delete your quick-scan data. For anything else, email info@industrial-intelligence.eu. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
